The shortcut should have already been placed on your desktop during the Instructor default installation procedure.
But if not check : "C:\Program Files\STRATX\Markstrat Instructor\Binaries" and look for an .exe titled SceCust.exe, highlight the .exe and right click. Find create a short cut and left click your mouse. This will then tell you that the shortcut will be placed on your desktop. Click ok.
